As a young adult, Brenda’s favourite hobby was -and still is- sewing. Joining Porcupine Canvas, she quickly made headway  as a salesperson with her superior dedication to customer satisfaction. So much so that she is known for wearing products and testing them out in the field. She truly wants to understand how clients require comfortable, lightweight, and functional gear in the most demanding surroundings. She remains passionate about their needs and often travels to mining regions across Canada. Indeed, for her, products are Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), not just bags and cases. That is why Porcupine Canvas’ products stand out with features like reflective visibility striping, colour and dye selection, and lightweight specifications.

With her Business Partner Dan Villgren, she evolved the Timmins-based small business to an award-winning enterprise in Boucherville, Quebec. In their dedication, the both of them encourage product knowledge and proper use by regularly visiting the regions where mining communities are situated. They also source equitable materials and manage supply chains and distribution effectively. In doing so, they wish to ensure fair pricing and to make sure product information is always top of mind.
